Reader 1:

4  Well written, but Lacey is utterly unsympathetic.  Glad I’m not an NYC artist.

Reader 2:

4  Martin is a good writer.  Interesting subject matter and a solid story line.

Reader 3:

4  Unusual, original and interesting novel.  Martin’s acute actor’s observational skills sometimes cause him to overdescribe people and situations.  Illustrations really enhance the book.
