Mary Beth Latham is first and foremost a mother, caring for her family and preserving their everyday life is paramount. And so, when one of her sons becomes depressed, Mary Beth becomes focused on him, and is blindsided by a shocking act of violence.

4  Extremely intense–good writing, insights, but too sad sometimes.  She needs to lighten up.

3  Many names begin book, hard to follow–important people?  Agree very SAD rather an uplift read.
